Here She Is!!!!

Miss Fiona Laurianna arrived VERY quickly on Tuesday morning.
We were supposed to go in for an induction that morning at 7:15am, but she decided not to wait and woke Mommy up at 2 am and was here at 7am!

We got home yesterday and have had a great first night being all together as a family.
God is GOOD!

A trip, A birthday and A pregnant mommy

Back in June we decided to take a long weekend and go to Quebec City.
We had a great time and although we missed going on our annual 3 week long adventure, a shorter trip seemed perfect this time around!

Caleb's favorite part -the waterslide and pool with Daddy.

And of course, going to the park.

Caleb's second birthday party -June 19th.
He had a great time with his buddies and all of his family.
Boz the Bear was the theme.

My parents came again to save the day
-yes that is one HUGE pregnant lady standing with her dad!
(only 31 weeks there -I know you're trying to imagine me NOW! :0)

This is still 31 weeks -it was taken the next day.

We're 38 weeks along now and are getting all of those last minute jobs done.

We are getting excited to meet this little one! We'll keep you posted!

A great way to cool down

It's been in the 30's here this week -VERY HOT for this pregnant lady -33 weeks by the way.

This poor old blog...it seems that downloading pictures from our camera is a thing of the past.

Matt plugged it in last night to find that we hadn't gotten any new pictures off of the camera since FEBRUARY!!!!!!!

Between getting ready for the new baby's arrival -August 25th- and babysitting four days a week and trying to keep up with Caleb and housework and church and the new scrapbooking business...yikes! So many excuses!

I apologize and will try to do better!!!

A long time coming! Apologies for those of you who have been checking and waiting for some pictures of the little man! My computer crashed right before Christmas vacation and I have finally had some time in the last couple of days to get it working well for me again.

Life has been a whirlwind as usual...We travelled to Dubuque for Christmas to spend time with my family for a week. We were glad to be there, just all of the time in the car (running into storm after storm) was a ALOT tough! We made it though and were so glad to be able to spend time TOGETHER. Time to move closer Jen and Eric! :0)

Caleb is GROWING! He got his immunizations 2 weeks ago and is in the 97% for his height. He is so BUSY and learning the ropes of being a boy and a toddler. So are his parents...He has had quite the adjustment since we got home as we have been babysitting a 1 year old little girl 4 days a week. He is learning how to share and how to touch GENTLY.
